Like A Gem

The other day, I drifted into some thrift stores and came out with a few t-shirts and two skirts. This was one and it's originally from Old Navy. 

Anyways, in person this skirt looks almost emerald. I usually don't like to call things "thrifted." Yes, these items come from a thrift store but vintage makes them sound elegant. That's more or less the purpose of this post.

Hello everyone! I've been in love with the color yellow ever since spring came around. If you're like me, I love wearing colors that can sort of represent seasons. I'm trying to post as much as possible!  I've got tennis on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then I'm spending some time designing some shorts for an etsy shop. I'll show you all a sneak peek some soon! Romper

On Saturday, we decided to take a trip to Raleigh. Which resulted in me being soaking wet, because I thought that singing She Will Be Loved out on the corner in the pouring rain was a good idea. I don't remember having that many people stare at me so awkwardly at one time before... 

Anyways, after that experience we went to the mall. I bought this romper and a Monsters University stuffed animal in the Disney store. Yes, I'm still a kid at heart.

Giraffes

This post is a few days late and I apologize. I've been thinking a lot lately and it's getting the best of me. 

Anyways, I bought this top because it had giraffes on it. It's a size too big, but it was the last one so I had to have it! I paired it up with these white shorts to give it a bit more "safari" feel. Plus these shorts make me feel extremely tan. 

So, the point of this is I like giraffes and if anything has a print I will buy it.

Na Na Na Batman

Hello everyone! So for today I have my Batman crop top on! If you like super heroes or grew up with a nerdy dad like me, then you would love this as well. But I must say, my dad's nerdiness has made me just as big of a nerd. 

The shorts I happened to make from a pair of Levi's and I sewed some fabric onto the back pockets. They are slightly big for me, but I love having a more comfortable feel in them.

So, I'm a sucker for Peter Pan collars and when I spotted this while shopping yesterday, I had to buy it. I also like that it's a peplum and it's lace. I usually don't wear much black in the summer since I tend to lean towards brighter things. 

Oh, and I also added my signature hair flick that the camera happily captured. I hope to see you all sometime soon!
